Dante Ramos will win at love if it's the last thing he does...
Since I retired from boxing, I'm fighting to keep my life off the damn ropes.
Lately, one thing after another's falling apart. First there's the road-trip on Valentine's weekend that coulda gotten me and my girl both killed. Then came the unspoken secrets that put so much distance between us.
My love for Michelle is everything that keeps me human. I can feel her slipping away. I've got one last shot. A desperate proposal.
And it's all about to go wrong.
Marry Me Baby An Evergreen Grove Novella edition by Elisabeth Staab Literature Fiction eBooks
Ahhhh I love these two. Dante and Michelle, one of my favorite couples from Evergreen Grove get a little catch up for us, just in time for Valentine's Day.So with 85 pages and that title, it's not hard to understand what's going to happen. But the thing is, it's Dante. The man seriously stresses himself out. And Staab brings that out to us so clearly, I felt myself getting stressed right along with him. Poor guy! And it's not like all of his stresses are needless, there are definitely things that need to be kept an eye on and such. However, this poor man wants all of the answers to all of his questions right now.
But only one answer is what makes out hearts go thump thump thump on Valentine's Day. I loved watching things unfold for this couple, and I love that I was surprised at how the big question all went down. Again, another fabulous addition to the community of Evergreen Grove. I still can't get enough!

Marry Me Baby An Evergreen Grove Novella edition by Elisabeth Staab Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This is a sweet, awesome novella. Absolutely loved it.
This is a good short story and it was good to catch up with Dante and Michelle again. This is an emotional story and it kept me engrossed throughout. I loved how they interacted with each other. I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it to anyone. I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book
I am so so so glad that Elisabeth Staab wrote this short story for Dante and Michelle. They are two of my favorite characters, and I will jump at any chance to see more of them. While the story is short, there was still plenty going on because everything is from Dante's perspective, and complex is definitely a word one could use to describe Dante. I find it impossible to not like him when you see so much that bothers him, as well as things that make him happy. He's just a great character, and Michelle makes him even better. Staab really makes him run the gamut of emotions in this story, and I was right there with him. It was fantastic! I received a complimentary copy of this story.
